Did Eratosthenes prove the Earth was a sphere?

Eratosthenes of Cyrene (c. 276 BC – c. 195/194 BC) was a Greek mathematician, geographer, poet, astronomer, and music theorist. He was a man of learning, becoming the chief librarian at the Library of Alexandria. He invented the discipline of geography, including the terminology used today.

His error was assuming the sun to be millions and millions of miles away, thus assuming the suns rays to be parallel as they shine down upon the earth. The problem is, the suns rays are not parallel as can be seen by crepuscular rays. In fact, when you know the teachings of the Bible, then you know the sun is local. If the sun is local, then it becomes clear that Eratosthenes instead proved the earth FLAT.

Here are two videos that address this. The second is the most revealing and more-less shows Carl Sagan revealing that indeed Eratosthenes proved a FLAT earth.
