The Strong's Concordance is a valuable resource however, you will not get the help you really need without some other's as well.

The Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew-English Lexicon is a must have. It uses the Strong's references to more precisely define each Hebrew word. Much more precisely than the Strong's does.

Below, find attachments of some pages from this Lexicon showing key words within the scope of our topic:

I got this lexicon used on ebay for $13. I know you will have to pay a lot more if you end up buying it new.

Another great resource is: A GREEK-ENGLISH LEXICON OF THE SEPTUAGINT
This lexicon will help you define the Greek words in the Greek Old Testament known as the Septuagint
Words such as, "stereoma", the Greek word they used for firmament.
I found this lexicon available in pdf on the internet at no charge.
